JUPITER IS IN THE CONSTELLATION TAURUS ( VRIHASPATI IN VRISH RASHI) WHICH WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO BE CAPTURE IN THE SAME VIEW OF THIS PHOTOGRAPH. THIS UNIQUE POSITIONING OF PLANETS (BUDH, SHUKRA, MANGAL), MOON AND SUN MAKES THIS SHIVRATRI, AN IMPORTANT AND RARE MAHASHIVRATRI WHICH IS ALSO THE END OF RARE MAHAKUMBH AT PRAYAG, ALLAHABAD, INDIA. NOTE THAT THE MOON IS AS A THIN CRESCENT WHICH WILL BECOME COMPLETELY DARK MOON OR AMAVASHYA TODAY PIOUS NIGHT WHEN GOD SHIVA WILL BE WORSHIPED THROUGHOUT. THIS IS CELEBRATED FROM TIME IMMEMORIAL. This is the holy place at the Chitrakoot Ghat of Mandakini Ganga where Saint Tulsidas resided and met God Rama with the help of God Hanuman

KUMBH AND ASTRONOMICAL BODIES : Kumbh in prayag (Allahabad),India,starts when Sun and Moon is in the Constellation Capricornus, and Jupiter in the Constellation Taurus and continues through when the Sun is in the Constellation Aquarius.It is taking place since the time immemorial, at least from the time of Lord Rama because it is mentioned in the epic Ramayan. 
Kumbh is the biggest congregation of the world without any invitation call letter where several crores(25-30 million) people gather at a particular day to take holy dip in the sangam.
